Corpus Christi logo in white on a black shirt. Iconic wolf's head design by Gee Vaucher.
Corpus Christi was active as a record label for six years, from 1982 to 1988. Run by John Loder with the assistance of the members of Crass, the label allowed for additional work with some of the bands who had released singles on Crass Records, as that label very rarely was comfortable releasing full length work by other artists. In fact Corpus Chrisit's first release was by UK Decay, a band who were a personal favourite of Loder's but who had never worked with Crass. The label released 16 titles with Rudimentary Peni, Cravats-offspring The Very Things, Conflict, Omega Tribe, The Fits, Annie Anxiety, Crucifix, Alternative, Icons Of Filth and Lack Of Knowledge. Some of the titles were reissued by Southern Records.
